Overview

Whilst cycling across Cam Nam Commune you will discover Hoi An's cultural heritage. You will have many chances to see different traditional local occupations such as how to make colorful lanterns, the process of making a pair of leather shoes, how to build or repair a ship and visit the village of clean vegetables.

This tour is suitable for novice cyclists as the country roads are mainly flat.

Itinerary

Our local guide will welcome you at our office. After having a welcome drink we have time for bike-fitting before cycling the back streets from Hoi An to Cam Nam.

From here, we will cycle to discover the authentic main points of the Cam Nam Commune. At our first stop you will have the opportunity to learn how to make colourful lanterns which are significant to Hoi An Ancient Town. Then, during the tour you will see the process of making leather shoes and see how to build or repair a fishing boat at a shipbuilding yard.

Next we cycle to the second destination at Tra Que Village which is a famous village for growing clean vegetables in Hoi An. You will see local farmers doing agricultural processes such as scraping the ground, planting, watering, collecting vegetables and many other chores that are seldom seen in modern life.

After that you will have time to relax on An Bang Beach with specific drinks that help you recharge your batteries before coming back to the town and completing the tour.

Anything else? We welcome you at our office and can be fairly flexible about the times. Drinking water and a helmet are included and Hoi An Bicycle Adventures supplies good quality bicycles.
